The Duleep Trophy 2024 is currently underway in its first round. One of the matches that is being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru between the Shubman Gill-led India A and the Abhimanyu Easwaran-lead India B.
Wiht stars like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant in their lineup, it was young Musheer Khan who stole the show for India B with his splendid century. In fact, the 19-year-old broke a long-standing record held by the great Sachin Tendulkar.
Musheer Khan slammed 181 from 373 deliveries for India B in what was a marathon knock. He thus registeted the third-highest individual score on Duleep Trophy debut by a teenager. This record was earlier held by Sachin Tendulkar who slammed 159 on debut while playing for West Zone against East Zone in 1991.
