Air Force fighter jet has crashed at farms of Chuarpur village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on Friday, said Wazir Singh Khaira, SBS Nagar superintendent of police.

“We got to know about the crash around 10:30 am,” said Alka Meena, senior SP.

A senior official said that the pilot was safely ejected from the plane before it crashed.
