The IPU CET MBBS 2017 exam will be held in the month of April- May 2017. The exam shall be held in two stages out of which the first is expected to be carried out in April 2017 and the second one in the month of May 2017. This examination is a national level examination which is conducted for the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the medical courses offered by the IPU. This examination is specifically for MBBS course. The organizing committee of the exam is the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IPU CET MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria:-

The eligibility criteria of an examination are set by the conducting authorities of the examination. Candidates are essentially required to satisfy these conditions in order to be eligible for the admission process. Any candidate found not eligible according to the conditions set shall be disqualified. Read the eligibility criteria for the IPU CET MBBS 2017 below.

• Candidates should have passed the 12th class qualifying examination from a recognized board of secondary education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the compulsory subjects.
• The minimum marks required to be obtained in the qualifying examination are 55% with PCB and all other subjects.
• The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.
• The minimum age of the candidate at the time of application must be 17 years.

IPU CET MBBS 2017 Admission Procedure:-

Candidates who wish to apply for the exam first need to check themselves against the eligibility criteria of the examination. If they satisfy the conditions, then candidates must fill and submit the application form through online or offline mode. Candidates shall be made to undergo the written IPU CET MBBS 2017 test comprised of two stages. Candidates clearing the two stages shall be eligible for counselling and seat distribution round. There is a total of 3 colleges under GGSIPU and a total of 264 seats available. Candidates shall then be allotted seats according to their merit.
 

IPU CET MBBS Registration / Application Form

IPU CET MBBS 2017 Application Form / Registration:-

For all the candidates who want to take the IPU CET MBBS 2017 exam, filling and submitting the application form is compulsory. Candidates can submit the application form using the online and offline mode. The GGSIPU shall mention the date inviting applications for the exam soon. The last date to submit the application form will be April 2017. Candidates must go through the steps given below before they start filling the application form for the exam.

• Candidates must click on the link given below. This shall direct them to the page where the application is to be filled.
• The application form shall open up. The candidates need to fill each and every detail asked correctly.
• After filling the personal information, candidates must proceed to upload the scanned documents of their photograph and signatures in the specified formats.
• Candidates must then submit the registration fee of Rs.1000/- which can be done via debit card or credit card.
• The fee can also be deposited through a DD OF Rs.1100/- in favor of IPUCET Controller of Examinations.
• Candidates must then finally submit the application form.
• Candidates must also take a print out of the completed application form and preserve it for future reference.\

IPU CET MBBS 2017 Pattern:-

The exam pattern of an exam tells about the pattern of the question paper and the things included in it such as the type of questions, number of questions, marking scheme, time duration, marks distribution etc. These must be known to the candidates before they start preparing for the exam. These are given as follows.

• The exam shall be conducted in the pen and paper mode.
• The type of questions asked shall be multiple choice-type questions.
• The exam shall be conducted in 2 papers as Paper-1 and Paper-2.
• The maximum marks of the IPU CET MBBS 2017 exam are 300 marks.
• The total time allowed is 2.5 hours i.e. 150 minutes.
• Negative marking is applicable.
• Each correct answer given shall be awarded 3 marks.
• The Paper-1 will be held in the month of April 2017.
• Only the candidates qualifying Paper-1 shall be eligible for applying for Paper-2.

Candidates who shall be participating in the IPU CET MBBS 2017 must have already started their preparation. Candidates need to study hard for this examination as there are very less number of seats available and competition is tough. • Candidates need to study on long stretches of 9-10 hours every day as the syllabus to be covered is vast and the time is less.
• Candidates need to practice questions as much as they can.
• Candidates must also take various mock tests available on the internet to clear their concepts.
• Candidates must also learn to manage time as only 2.5 hours are allowed to solve the paper and negative marking is also applicable.
