Newly formed, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct Online JEE Main 2019 twice a year.
JEE Main 2019 exam will be held in January and April.
JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Norms:--
• Norms of eligibility must be satisfied by all the applicants in order to be eligible for admission after JEE Main qualification.
• All norms are mandatory to be satisfied.
• Class XII exam or any other recognized exam which is equivalent to it will be termed as qualifying exam and every candidate must have passed it in order to be eligible for JEE Main exam.
• Students who are going to take the qualifying exam in the year of 2019 are also eligible for the application given that they should submit their marks before a specified date (to be mentioned in brochure).
• Pass – outs of 2014 and earlier years will NOT be eligible for JEE Main 2019.
• Date of birth should be on or after 1.08.1992. This age has been relaxed by 5 years for the candidates of ST, SC and PwD candidates.
• Maximum number of attempts for JEE Main: 03
• The eligibility norms for JEE Main 2019 candidates of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha will be as per their past norms.

• Exam will have 3 sections: Physics, Maths and Chemistry
• Each one will carry equal marks
• There will be a negative marking of ¼
• The candidates applying for JEE Main 2019 (Paper 2) will have to answer questions from Mathematics, Drawing Test and Aptitude Test sections.
