PUBDET 2020 Syllabus -
The tests will be based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabi of various recognised boards/councils. Subject/paper wise syllabus is given below.

Performing Arts - Basic knowledge in theatre, music and dance

English - English
Political Science - English and basic polity
History - History
Hindi - Hindi
Geography - Geography, English and basic scientific aptitude
Sociology - Social awareness, English and general aptitude
Bengali - Bengali
Philosophy - Reasoning, general knowledge and elements of basic philosophy

Paper Pattern
PUBDET 2020 Pattern -
The medium of tests will be English except for vernacular subjects like Hindi and Bengali. In every subject, all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions. There will 50 (fifty) questions in each paper, full marks 100 and time 90 minutes.
Scoring Methodology -
a) All questions will have four answer options
b) Only one option is correct.
c) Correct response will yield 2 (two) mark.
d) Incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.
e) For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks
f) No response will yield zero mark.
