UPPGMEE- Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (UPPGMEE) is a paper-pen based post-graduate medical/dental test directed by the King George Medical University, Lucknow for admission to M.D./M.S./M.D.S./Postgraduate Diploma Seats in K.G. Medical University (KGMU), UP State Medical Colleges & Institutes. Medical/Dental aspirants who have cleared MBBS/BDS course and also completed compulsory rotating internship from a recognized medical/dental college in UP are eligible to apply for UPPGMEE. The questions asked in the test will be from the subjects taught in MBBS and BDS courses of study. 
 
Eligibility for UPPGMEE 2017:- 
  • MBBS/BDS course from recognized medical/dental college in UP. 
  •  
  • Should have also completed compulsory rotating internship.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs 1800/- + Bank Transaction Charges shall be paid by the candidate. Bank transaction charges shall be –

i) Cash deposit: HDFC Bank: Rs 20/-; Allahabad Bank: Rs 30/-
ii) Internet payment: Debit Card 0.75% + Service Tax; Credit Card 1.2% + Service Tax

Candidates paying fee through cash at HDFC Bank/Allahabad Bank can fill online application only after 2 days of making payment. Last date for making cash payment is Friday, 26th February 2016

Candidates making payment through Internet payment gateway (debit/credit card) mode can apply instantly up to 5:00 PM. on 28th February 2016.

Photograph

1.  High contrast 3.5 × 4.5 cm size colour photographs (full front face, no cap, no hat, no dark glasses) with white background/light background. Top of hair to bottom of chin should measure 2.5 to3.0 cm.
2.  Poor quality photograph would be rejected.
3.  Photograph MUST be taken on or after 29th Jan. 2016.
4.  Photograph must have clear and legible name and date of the candidate on the photograph
5.  Instruct your photographer to take the photograph with a 4MP or better camera and provide you a soft copy of the photograph in “.jpg” format. The file size should be between 50 KB to 500 KB.

UPPGMEE 2017 Paper Pattern:-
 
The examination shall consist of one paper of 190 MCQ as follows:-
 
a. 90 questions on pre and para-clinical subjects.
b. 90 questions on clinical subjects.
10 questions on comprehension.
The number of questions from different subjects in the paper shall ordinarily, but not necessarily be as follows:-
 
Each question in section A & B shall carry 1 mark. Each question in section C will carry 2 marks.
 
There will be no negative marking.
