Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the government of Uttar Pradesh with an aim to appoint the candidate as a teacher in either primary or secondary schools of government or private management in the state.

Paper I - For 1st to 5th Class Teachers
Duration:- 150 Minutes (2.30 Hours)
1. Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
2. Language-I (Hindi) - - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
3. Language-II (English/ Urdu /Sanskrit) - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
4. Mathematics - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
5. Environment Studies - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
Total - 150 MCQ - 150 Marks
Paper II:- For 6th to 8th Class Teachers
Duration:- 150 Minutes (2.30 Hours)
1. Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
2. Language-I (Hindi) - - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
3. Language-II (English/ Urdu /Sanskrit) - 30 MCQ - 30 Marks
