Chettinad University MBBS Entrance is an all-India paper-pen based medical entrance directed for MBBS admission in Chettinad Medical College. Medical aspirants who have completed 17 years of age as on December of the year of admission and those who have passed HSC/CBSE / ISCE in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology /Biotechnology and English are eligible to apply for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance. This MBBS entrance test for Chettinad University MBBS admission shall consists of subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Botany and Zoology.
Eligibility for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017:-
•Age:- Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the M.B.B.S. Course.
•Educational Qualification:- HSC/CBSE / ISCE in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology /Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 75% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany and Zoology/Biotechnology.

Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 pplication Form / Registration:-
01. Application form for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education on payment of 1000/-(Rupees One thousand only).
02.If the application form is downloaded from the university’s website a demand draft for 1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of Chettinad Academy of Research and Education payable at Chennai is to be enclosed.
03. Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 application forms should be filled in carefully and legibly by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
04. Furnishing of false information or suppression of material information in the form will make the application treated as cancelled.
05. Applications with incomplete or insufficient particulars or without enclosures or those received after the last date will be rejected without any intimation to the candidates.

Photo copies of the 10th and 12th standard Mark statements duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, should be enclosed along with the application form for Entrance Examination.

Two identical and recently taken passport size colour photographs are required. Candidates should affix the photograph in the space provided in the application form and sign on the photograph.
Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 Admit Card:-
•Hall Tickets for the Entrance Examination will be issued only to the eligible candidates.
• If any aspirant has not received the hall ticket he/she should contact the office of the Registrar over phone or report by fax. For such candidates, duplicate hall tickets will be issued on the day of the Examination at the Examination Centre.
• Hall ticket must be produced at the time of Entrance Examination without fail.
• No candidate shall be allowed to write the Entrance Examination without valid Hall ticket.

The syllabus for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 shall consist of subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Botany and Zoology as taught in class 12 (HSC/CBSE / ISCE).
Paper Pattern
Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017 Paper Pattern:-
• The Chettinad University MBBS Entrance will consist of 180 multiple choice questions covering the subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology /Botany and Zoology.
• The duration of the entrance examination will be three hours.
Exam instructions for students appearing for Chettinad University MBBS Entrance 2017:
-Aspirants are expected to report at the center for entrance examination atleast 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
- Aspirants will not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper or any prohibited materials such as mobile phones, calculators, paging devices or electronic gadgets inside the Examination hall.
- If anyone happens to bring any of these items the same should be kept outside the Examination hall solely at the risk of the candidate.
- Aspirants should mantain silence and attend their paper only.
Mode of Selection for Admission:-
-Selection will be made on the basis of merit prepared by Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram District.
-Aspirants scoring not less than 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the All India Level Common Entrance Examination will be included in the merit list.
-Result of the entrance examination will be declared after Plus 2 (Class 12) results.
