IIT JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility:-
 
Performance in JEE (Main) 2020:- Candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2020..
 
The percentages of various categories are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these four categories, 3% horizontal reservation is available for PwD (including Dyslexic) candidates.
 
Age Limit:- Age limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.
 
Number of attempts:- A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
 
Qualification:- A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2019 or 2020 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
 
However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declares the results for the academic year 2017-18 after June 2018, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their Class XII exam in 2018 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria. In case, the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2017-18 before June 2018 but the result of a particular candidate was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.

Detailed instructions related to the payment of registration fee will be provided at the time of JEE (Advanced) 2020 registration on the online registration portal.
 
National Testing Agency (NTA) will take place of CBSE and hold the JEE Main 2020 twice in a year for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. 
 
JEE Main 2020 exam will be held in January and April.
 
Eligibility for appearing in JEE (Main) 2020:-
 
B.E/B.TECH - Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
 
B.ARCH./B.PLANNING - Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics.
 
Age Limit - For appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination – 2020. The candidates should also satisfy themselves about their fulfilling the age limit requirements of the Institutes in which they are desirous of taking admission.
 
 
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE):-
 
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2018 or 2019; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 are eligible to appear in January JEE(Main)-2020 Examination.
 
Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2017 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2021 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)–2020.

JEE Main 2020 Preparation:-
 
Getting admission in NITs and IIT's in India is still a dream for many students. But, securing admission to one of these is not as easy as said. JEE MAIN 2020 is termed as the second toughest entrance exam in India. JEE Main preparation requires loads of hardwork and dedication.
 
But, it is essential to focus hard work in the relevant direction. Stick to basic law of physics. Concentrate on each topic. Revise as much as you can. Go with only approved study materials, as such, prefer only NCERT textbooks. Practice plenty of sums in order to solve problems faster.
