The Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh conducts Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) for admission to various government and private engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh.

CG PET 2018 Eligibility:-

Candidate must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.

CEE Assam

Assam Science And Technology University conducts Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for Admission to B.Tech. programme in the colleges of Assam. 
 
 
Assam CEE 2020 Eligibility:-
 
a) The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
 
b) For admission the candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.
 
c) The Candidate must appear in the Entrance Examination for admission (CEE – 2020).
 
d) The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as on 1 st August 2020. Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
 
e)The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
 
f) The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

CDS

Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. Only candidates who are unmarried and have completed their graduation are eligible to sit for this exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective academies after an interview is conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
 

Eligibility for CDS 2020:-

Nationality:-  A candidate must either be

a) A citizen of India
b) A subject of Bhutan
c) A subject of  Nepal
d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 with the of permanently settling in India'
e) A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
 
Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status -
 
i) For IMA - Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2002 only are eligible.
 
ii) For Indian Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2002 only are eligible.
 
iii) For Air Force Academy - 20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2021 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2001 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st January, 2001) only are eligible. 
 
Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live with family out of the premises. 
 
iv) For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1996 and not later than 1st January, 2002 only are eligible.
 
v) For Officers' Training Academy -(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1996 and not later than 1st January, 2002. 
 
Educational Qualifications -
 
i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai - Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
 
ii) For Indian Naval Academy - Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
 
iii) For Air Force Academy - Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
 
Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
 
Candidates who are studying in the final year/semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog upto the last semester / year for which results have been declared upto the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of commencement of course to reach the IHQ of MoD (Army), Rtg ‘A’, CDSE Entry, West Block III, R. K. Puram, New Delhi-110066 in case of IMA/SSC first choice candidates and Naval HQ “DMPR” (OI & R Section), Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates and PO3(A)/Air Headquarters, ‘J’ Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110 106 in case of Air Force first choice candidates by the following dates failing which their candidature will stand cancelled :
 
(i) For admission to IMA on or before 1st January, 2021, Indian Naval Academy on or before 1st January, 2021 and Air Force Academy on or before 13th November, 2020.
 
(ii) For admission to Officers' Training Academy, Chennai on or before 1st April, 2021.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) directs Problem Solving Assessment (CBSE- PSA) for students of Classes IX and XI. This student problem-solving ability test assess skills of verbal communication, analytical reasoning, critical & creative thinking, decision making and other generic skills. 

Features of CBSE PSA:- 

a) It is compulsory for all students of classes IX and XI.
b) This problem solving test consists of 60 MCQ of 60 marks
c) The test assesses life skills related to the following three domains: Language conventions, qualitative reasoning and quantitative reasoning.
d) The items included in the test aim to assess students’ ability to process, interpret and use information rather than assessing their prior subject matter knowledge.
e) CBSE PSA 2014 in English or Hindi shall include questions to test grammar, usage, vocabulary in context and passage completion.
f)  The question paper will be billingual. 
g) PSA score will be counted towards FA4 which is 10% of total assessments for class-IX. 
h) This score will be reflected equally in one language (English or Hindi), Mathematics, Science and 
Social Science. Class-XI students will be issued a separate certificate for the same. 
i)Students studying in class X and XII in the current session (who appeared in PSA while studying in classes IX and XI during the previous session) who wish to improve in PSA are 
allowed to do so. Related information may be indicated clearly at the time of submission of list of candidates (LOC) for 2015 annual examination.

CBSE NET

From Dec 2018 onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conducts UGC NET for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Eligibility for CBSE NET 2020:- 
 
Age Limit and Relaxation: 
 
(i) Junior Research Fellowship:  Aspirant applying for CBSE NET should be not more than 28 years of age as on 01.12.2014. A relaxation of age of upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website: www.ncbc.nic.in )/SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants. Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing L.L.M. Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances.
 
(ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
 
Educational Qualification:-
 
i) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (list attached page No. 17 to 41) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. (list of subjects of post graduation attached at page No. 42 to 43) are eligible for this Test. Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates belonging to non-creamy layer / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
 
ii)  Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Junior Research Fellowship/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons with disability) category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
 
iii)  The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
 
iv)  Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates, whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject.
 
v)  Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD category are required to submit attested copy of the category Certificate along with online printout of their Application Forms (obtained while applying on-line). Other candidates are not required to submit any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility along with printout of their Application Form. Therefore, the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the UGC/CBSE at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.
 
vi)   Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their  diploma/degree/certificate with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. EXEMPTION (ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR):-
 
i)  NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.
 
ii)  The candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET.
 
iii)  For SET Candidates: The candidates who have cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for  Assistant Professor held prior to 1st Dec 2002, are exempted from appearing in NET, being eligible to apply for  Assistant Professor anywhere in India. For SET held from 1st Dec 2002 onwards, the qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the universities/ colleges situated in the state from where they have cleared their SET.

BSNL comprises of a number of territorial and functional circles as such BSNL Junior Accounts Officers Recruitment is made centrally and JAO's recruited are placed in various territorial circles. As such remember the the post of Junior Accounts Officers is a circle-based cadre and candidates would be selected against the vacancies in a particular circle and considering choice and merit in BSNL Junior Accounts Officers test.

Applicant must possess the educational qualification M.COM / CA / ICWA / CS from a recognized institution / University (as on 1st Jan 2017 as per Recruitment Rule of BSNL). The Candidates having qualification M.COM/CA/ICWA/CS from a recognized institution/University shall only be able to appear in the online examination.
 
Age as on 1st Jan 2017:- 
 
Candidate shall not be below 20 years and shall not exceed 30 years.
 
Age Relaxation:-
 
i. Up to five (5) years for SC/ST candidates 
ii. Up to three (3) years for OBC candidates 
iii. Up to fifteen (15) years for SC/ST-PWD candidates 
iv. Up to thirteen(13) years for OBC-PWD candidates 
v. Up to ten (10) years for OC-PWD candidates
