BHU UET 2020 Eligibility - 

 

B. A. (Hons.) Arts

Minimum Eligibility Requirements -  Passed MADHYAMA Examination of BHU/Madhyama/Uttar Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum 50% marks in the aggregate and (b) Sanskrit must be one of the subjects in the concerned examination and candidate should have passed in this subject also. The candidates having passed one year certificate course in Sanskrit of BHU after passing 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate both in 10+2 examination and certificate examination are also eligible.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag., if he/she has passed 10+2 OR equivalent examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry Plus any one of the following Biology, Maths or Agriculture. Must have passed in each of the concerned three subjects (as supported by the certificate issued by the examining body). This very aggregate will also be used for determining the inter-se merit
AGE: Not to be less than 16 years and not more than 25 years on 1st July? 2020 (applicant should be born on or after 1st July.? 1995 and on or before 1st July, 2004).
 
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H., if he/she has passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or the Indian School Certificate Examination or Intermediate examination (or equivalent examination) in Science from a recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed each of the aforesaid subjects individually. SC/ST Caste candidates must have scored at least minimum 40% marks in aggregate in qualifying examinations and in English securing at least 40% marks in aggregate and must have passed each of the aforesaid subjects individually.
 
AGE: Not to be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years on 1st July? 2020 (applicant should be born on or after 1st July.? 1995 and on or before 1st July, 2003).
 
LL.B. (Hons.) (Bachelor of Laws)
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet OR any other Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of admission to LL.B. Course securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate considering all the subjects in the three years (aggregate being calculated as mentioned above). (Note- As per directive of the Bar Council of India, the candidates who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in Law Courses. Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants, 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant.).
 
B.A.LL.B. (Hons) (Under Special Courses of Study)
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - Applicant who has successfully completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent (Such as 11+1, “A” level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) examination from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course. However, the applicant who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course. Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants, 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant.
 
B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education) 
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - 
 
i) Bachelor?s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India or (b) Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or (c) Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject or (d) Bachelor?s Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter-University competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in Sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India or (e) Bachelor's Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India or (f) Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates, i.e., trained physical education teachers/coaches).
 
ii) AGE: Not to be more than 25 years on 1st July 2020 (applicant should be born on or after 1st July of 1995); and
 
iii) Candidates shortlisted for Physical Fitness Test of B.P.Ed. would be required to produce the highest sports participation certificate, if any, for consideration of Bonus Points for sports participation (see clause 15 (xi) Duration of Test and Structure of Question Paper of B. P. Ed.). The shortlisted candidates are required to bring the original certificate along with one Photostat of that certificate at the time of Physical Fitness Test for verification.

Bachelor of Vocation in Retail & Logistics Management
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements -A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Retail Management & Logistics Management), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
 
Bachelor of Vocation in Hospitality & Tourism Management
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Hospitality & Tourism Management), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, the eligibility will be as per the University Rules.
 
Bachelor of Vocation (Fashion Designing & Event Management) 
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Fashion Designing & Event Management), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.  
 
Bachelor of Vocation (Modern Office Management) 
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Modern Office Management), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
 
Bachelor of Vocation in Food Processing & Management
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Food Processing & Management), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in science stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
 
Bachelor of Vocation in Medical Lab. Technology
 
Minimum Eligibility Requirements - A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Voc. (Medical Lab. Technology), if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in science stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Before starting to fill the application get your photograph and signature scanned. Only jpg format is accepted. The photograph size should not be more than 100 KB for the photograph and 100 KB for signature (100 DPI and crop the image of signature to an approximate size of around 5 cm x 1.5 cm).

BHU SET

BHU SET is a  OMR paper-pen mode school entrance test (SET) directed by the Banaras Hindu University for admission of boys and girls in classes IX and XI in Central Hindu Boys' School and Central Hindu Girls' School. On the basis of marks obtained in BHU SET students will be given a seat. 
 
THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF AVAILABLE SEATS -
 
CHGS: Class VI – 50, IX – 20, XI Maths Stream– 17, XI Biology Stream – 16, XI Commerce Stream– 25 and XI Arts Stream – 50.
 
CHBS: Class VI – 90, IX –104, XI Maths Stream– 38+50*, XI Biology Stream– 25, XI Commerce Stream– 13 and XI Arts Stream– 12.
 
 
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:-
 
For Class VI - 10 Years to 12 years age as on September 30, 2020 i.e. date of birth will not be before 30.09.2008 and after 30.09.2010 and passed class V examination from a school.
 
For Class IX - 13 Years to 15 years age as on September 30, 2020 i.e. date of birth will not be before 30.09.2005 and after 30.09.2007 and passed class VIII examination from a school.
 
For Class XI - 18 Years maximum age as on September 30, 2020 i.e. date of birth will not be before 30.09.2002 and passed class X examination from a recognized Board/University with the required percentage as under noted:
 
For external candidates (coming through SET) -
 
i) 60% marks and above in class X marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for admission in Science Stream. 50% marks and above or equivalent grade is essential in each, Maths and Science as per KVS norms.
 
ii) 55% and above in class X marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for commerce.
 
iii) Class X passed for Arts stream. In addition to the above a candidate (excluding SC/ST/OH) shall be eligible for admission to the above classes only if he/she gets a minimum of 33% in the School Entrance Test in which he/she is appearing. These criteria will also apply in case of the sons and daughters of the BHU employees and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged (OH) will be eligible for admission on securing 25% in aggregate as per KVS rules.

SMS alert regarding issue of Admit Card on the mobile phone registered by the candidate will also be sent. BHU RET

BHU RET: Banaras Hindu University Research Entrance Test (RET) is a paper-pen based research entrance test directed for PhD Admission in BHU. 
 
BHU RET consists of three stage namely
 
• Test A: Test to assess Logical and Analytical Capability
• Test B:Test to assess Subject Knowledge
• Test C: Research proposal and Personal Interview
 
Ph.D aspirants need to clear each stage of this exam in order to be considered for BHU Ph.D. Admission. 
 
Eligibility for BHU RET:- 
 
Faculty of Agriculture:-
 
(a) Qualifying Examination: Essential:- A candidate having (i) Master's degree in Agriculture/Science (M.Sc (Ag.)/ M.Sc.) in the concerned discipline with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years degree.
OR
(ii) Master's degree in Agriculture/ Science (M.Sc (Ag.)/ M.Sc.) in any one of the allied subjects/disciplines with B.Sc. (Ag.) 4 years degree pertaining to the department.
(iii) M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering/M.E. (Agricultural Engineering) or equivalent degree with spe cialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/Soil and Water Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering or M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil and Water Conservation for admission in Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering), (iv) M.Sc.(Ag.)/M.Sc. in Agricultural Statistics/M.Sc. in Statistics for Admission in Ph. D. in Agricultural Statistics. The candidates having 10+2+3+2 system of education will also be eligible for admission in Ph.D. through RET and RET (Exempted) in the following Disciplines:
 
(1) Food Science & Technology; (2) Agricultural Statistics
(b) Qualifying Marks:- At least 55% in aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination.
 
Faculties of Arts, Visual Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Environment & Sustainable Development:-
 
(a) Qualifying Examination:- Master's degree in the concerned subject OR (ii) Masters degree in any one of the allied subjects.
 
However,
 
(i) for admission to Ph.D. in Women's Studies, Peace Research, Public Administration and Nepal Studies candidates holding Post Graduate degree in any discipline of Social Science/ Science/ Humanities/ Management would be eligible. Further candidates having postgraduate degree in Nepali Language and Culture are also eligible for Ph.D. in Nepal Studies.
(ii) for admission to Ph.D. in Subaltern Studies candidates holding M.Phil. degree in Subaltern Studies would be eligible. For admission to Ph.D. in Musicology candidates holding M.Phil. degree in Musicology would also be eligible. Candidates who have done M.Phil. in Subaltern Studies/Musicology from the Banaras Hindu University shall be considered for direct admission to Ph.D. in Subaltern Studies/Musicology without appearing in the RET. However, such candidates who have obtained the M.Phil. from other Universities are required to appear in the RET for Subaltern Studies/Musicology.
(iii) for admission to Ph.D. in Geophysics, candidates holding BE/B.Tech. degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science and Technology would also be eligible.
(iv) for admission to Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics, candidates holding BE/B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, Bioscience & Bioengineering, Biomedical engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Materials Science and Pharmaceutical Engineering would also be eligible.
(v) for admission to Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences under its main-discipline quota, the candidates holding PG degrees in their allied subjects are allowed to appear in the RET of Mathematical Sciences.
vi) for admission to Ph.D. in Human and Clinical Genetics (in Centre for Genetic Disorders), under their main-discipline quota, the candidates holding PG degrees (M.Sc./MD/MS/MDS/M.Tech./DM) in theirallied subjects are allowed to appear in the RET of Human and Clinical Genetics.
(vii) for admission to Ph.D. in Environmental Science & Technology candidates holding B.Tech. in any branch/discipline.
(viii) for admission to Ph.D. in Bhojpuri evam Janpadiya Adhyan, candidates holding PG Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering and Technology, Management, Medical Sciences, Performing Arts and Visual Arts in any branch/discipline would also be eligible.
 
b) Qualifying Marks:- At least 55% in the aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination.
 
Faculty of Performing Arts:-

BHU PMT

BHU is the Banaras Hindu University which is offering admissions in the undergraduate medical courses on the basis of the AIPMT examination. Though there is no separate examination but it is mandatory for the candidates to register them for the admission procedure. The candidates who will qualify the AIPMT exam can proceed towards the admission in this deemed university. The application is supposed to be commenced in the month of April 2018.

BHU PMT 2018 Counselling Procedure:

The students who will be shortlisted through the scores of the AIPMT examination can then join the BHU PMT 2018 Counselling procedure at the decided venue. The counselling process is expected to be held in the month of July 2018.

• Seats will be allotted as per merit list.
• It is mandatory that the student will be physically present at the time of counselling.
• The aspirant must have to report the allotted centre within the limited duration otherwise seat will be discarded.

BHU PMT 2018 Application Form / Registration:-

As soon as the applicant satisfies all the eligibility conditions, he can then easily proceed towards the BHU PMT 2018 Application Form of the exam. The registration process is expected to be commenced in April 2018.

• The application forms must be filled online only, but the downloaded form along with the DD must be sent to the official address.
• The amount of fee is Rs 1000 for general candidates and Rs 600 for the rest of the reserved categories.
• The candidate must have to register first and then fill the application form.
• It is mandatory to mention the name, mobile number and the application number on the reverse side of the DD.
• Within 15 days after the result declaration, the candidate must have to send their score card of the AIPMT exam.

Section „B? will be of 60 MCQs (180 marks) of graduation level and will comprise of Business Organization & Management (24 MCQs), Business Law including Company Law (12 MCQs), monetary theory and Banking (12 MCQs), Business Economics (06 MCQs) and Statistics (06 MCQs). A candidate is required to answer questions from both the Section „A? and „B?.

(a) Section A with have 60 MCQs from General Sciences at 10+2 level to test the knowledge of the candidates in fundamentals and 20 MCQs of general nature to test their analytical ability, reasoning and logical skills.

For practical exam topic will be given at the time of practical examination. The merit will be decided on the basis of combined marks in theory and practical.

There shall be one paper of 120 minutes duration carrying 360 marks containing 120 multiple-choice questions based on graduate level of the subject Education, i.e., Foundation (Philosophical, Sociological, Psychological & Research Methodology), Historical Overview, Trends Contemporary Issues, Innovations, Curriculum, Planning & Finance, Administration, Evaluation, Technology, Counseling and Special Education.
 
Common Entrance Test Master of Vocation in Food Processing & Management/ Master of Vocation in Medical Laboratory Technology (Under Vocational Courses) for (Under Vocational Courses)
 
The admission to the courses will be on the basis of a composite merit comprising of marks in the entrance test, group discussion and interview. There shall be one paper of 120 minutes duration carrying 360 marks containing 120 multiple  choice questions divided into following two sections:
 
(a) The Section – A: 40% Questions, i.e., 48 questions: General Aptitude, Mathematics, English Comprehensive and General Knowledge
(b) The Section – B Paper shall comprise two sections: Food Processing & Management and Medical Laboratory Technology, each containing 60% Questions, i.e., 72 questions.
 
(i) Food Processing & Management 60% Questions, i.e. 72 questions: Food Science and Technology related questions (Dairy, Fruits and Vegetables, Cereals Processing, Beverages, Food Processing and Preservation, Food Safety and Quality Management, Waste Management, Food Nutrition, Health Hygiene, Food Packaging, Confectionary, Meat and meat Products, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Biotechnology).
(ii) Medical Laboratory Technology 60% Questions, i.e. 72 questions: Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Serology, Histopathology, Biostatics, Molecular Biology and Applied genetics, Immunology and Immunological techniques, Biotechnology and Biomedical Techniques.

The structure of Question Paper shall be as follows: It shall be of 120 minutes duration carrying 360 marks containing 120 multiple-choice questions broadly distributed in equitable in 6 sections: Section I : Microeconomics; Section II : Macroeconomics; Section III : International Economics; Section IV : Quantitative Technique & Numerical Ability, Section V : Economic Development & Growth and Section VI : Issues of Indian Economy.
 
Common Entrance Test for M.Sc. Environmental Sciences (Earth & Atmospheric Sciences); M.Sc. Environmental Sciences (Ecological Sciences); M.Sc. Environmental Sciences (Environmental Biotechnology); and M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences (Environmental Technology)
 
There shall be one paper of 120 minutes comprising Section A and B carrying 360 marks and based on multiple choice questions of the Graduate Level. The candidate shall have to attempt both sections. Section A will have 40 questions from Basic Environmental Science and Section B will have 80 questions from each sub sections such as Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth Sciences. The candidate has to select only one sub section from Section B.
 
Note on language of Question Papers:
 
(i) Question papers for LL. M. (2-Years)/(1-Year)/(HRDE), M. A./M.Sc. (Maths, Geography, Psychology, and Home Science) and all M. A. (excluding languages) will be in English and Hindi both.
(ii) Question papers of all Acharya will be in Sanskrit only.
(iii) Question papers of all languages (except Sanskrit) will be in respective languages. Question papers for M. A. (Sanskrit)
will be in English and Hindi both.
(iv) Question papers of all M.Sc./ M.Sc (Tech)/M.Tech. Entrance Tests will be in English only
 
There shall be negative marking in entrance tests for all Courses of study in PET. Three marks shall be awarded for each correct answer while one mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unattempted question will be awarded zero mark

BHU MCA

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) directs BHU MCA PET entrance exam for admission to its three-year full time Master of computer Applications (MCA) course. This course offered by the university is highly preferred by MCA aspirants around the country for its academic structure that combines classroom learning and practical experience. This Postgraduate Entrance (PET) exam is conducted every year in the month of May/June before the start of the academic year.
