NEET MDS

National Board of Examination conducts National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test - NEET MDS for admission to MDS Course.
 
NEET MDS 2020 Eligibility:-
 
 A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.
 
A candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2020 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2020 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2020.

Candidates are required to download their admit card from the website and affix their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. Admit card will not be sent to the candidates by Post. The photograph should have the following specifications:
 
a.  A photograph of minimum 35x45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate.
 
b. A caption indicating name of candidate and date of capturing photograph should be there at the bottom of photo.
 
c. Background of the Photograph : white
 
d. The photograph needs to display full front view of the face. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
 
e. Please avoid photograph with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
 
f. The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions.
 
g. The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone.
 
h. The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains
.
 
Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents: 
 
a. Printed copy of the Admit Card with Photo of the candidate pasted on it.
 
b. Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired)

NEET 2017

The NEET 2017 stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam for the admission into the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Medical courses provided by various Medical Institutions of India. This National Level exam is conducted by the National Board of Examination and according to the Current Announcement of the Supreme Court, the admission into 600 Medical Institution will be provided based upon the score of the National entrance exam. The detail of the Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Counselling of the entrance exam is available below.
 
 
NEET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:-
 
The Eligibility Criteria of NEET 2017 for both the programs has not been updated by the Exam Conducting Authority yet. The terms and conditions are available here as per the previous year information. The Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
 
• Candidates should have passed the Class 12th from the recognized Board or University with the minimum 65% marks to get the admission into the Under Graduate programs provided by different Medical Institutions. 
• Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology as the compulsory subjects in the class 12th.
• For applying for the admission into the Post Graduate Programs, Candidates should have passed the MBBS or equivalent from the recognized Board or university with the minimum of 60% marks.
• Candidates having the Internship certificate or who have completed the Internship will be preferred. 
 
NEET 2017 Admission Process:
 
The Admission in NEET 2017 will be based upon the score of the entrance exam. Based upon the score obtained in the entrance exam, Candidates will be able to get the place in the Merit List of the Candidates that will be prepared for the Candidates who will qualify the entrance exam. 
 
NEET 2017 Counselling Procedure:
 
The Counselling of NEET 2017 will be conducted after the entrance exam of both the programs. The Call letter of the Counselling process will be provided to the Candidates who will get the space in the Merit List. The detail of the Counselling process is as follows:
 
• Candidates should report at the Counselling Venue at the time with the required documents.
• Candidates should have the valid Identity proof along with the documents i.e. Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card etc. 
• Physical Presence of the candidates is a must at the time of Counselling.
• The Process of the choice filling will be done in the first round of the counselling and the Seats will be allotted based upon the Merit List.

But getting into any of these three services is not easy.Be prepared to undergo rigorous training. But, before getting selected candidates have to appear for an exam. This page gets you all the information you may want to know about one such exam ie NDA (National Defence Academy) exam.
 
Candidates for National Defense Academy are selected on merit basis through NDA 2020 exam. This All India test is held every year under the supervision of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Held twice a year, in the month of April and September. While applying, candidates should give his preference for the service that he/she desires to join. 
 
Eligibility for NDA 2020 Exam:-
 
Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:-
 
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2004 are eligible. 
 
Educational Qualifications:-
 
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy - 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
 
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy - 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
 
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
 
Such candidates who qualify the SSB interview but could not produce Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate in original at the time of SSB interview should forward duly self attested Photocopies to ‘Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ, West Block.III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066’ and for Naval Academy candidates to ‘Naval Headquarters, DMPR, OI&R Section, Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhavan, New Delhi-110011’ by 24th December, 2020 failing which their candidature will be cancelled. All other candidates who have produced their Matriculation and 10+2 pass or equivalent certificates in original at the time of attending the SSB interview and have got the same verified by the SSB authorities are not required to submit the same to Army HQ or Naval HQ as the case may be. Certificates in original issued by the Principals of the Institutions are also acceptable in cases where Boards/Universities have not yet issued certificates. Certified true copies/photostate copies of such certificates will not be accepted. 
 
Physical Standards:-
 
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2020 as per guidelines given in Appendix IV.

Before start filling up Online Application, a candidate must have his photograph and signature duly scanned in the .jpg format in such a manner that each file should not exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature.

Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application form containing two stages viz. Part I and Part II as per the instructions available in the above mentioned site through drop down menu.

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) [except SC/ST candidates and those specified in Note-2 who are exempted from payment of fee] either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

NOTE-2 : The sons of serving/ex-Junior Commissioned Officers/Non-Commissioned Officers/Other Ranks of Army and equivalent ranks in the Indian Navy/Indian Air Force are also not required to pay the prescribed fee if  they are studying in Military School (formerly known as King George's School)/Sainik School run by Sainik Schools Society.

The applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active E-mail Ids as the Commission may use electronic mode of communication while contacting them at different stages of examination process.

NDA Syllabus

NDA 2020 Syllabus:-
 
The exam will be divided into papers i.e. Paper I (Mathematics) Paper II (General Ability Test).
 
General Ability Test will be further divided into two parts that include English and General Knowledge. 
 
Syllabus for all the mentioned subjects are given below:-
 
•Mathematics:- Algebra, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two & Three Dimensions, Different Calculus, Integral Calculus & Different Equations, Vector Algebra and Statistics & Probability.
•English: - The English paper will be designed to test students’ proficiency in the languages with verbal reasoning and usage of grammar.
•General Knowledge: - The GK paper will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and 
•Current Events. For all the mentioned subjects in the paper, the syllabus will be from 10+2 level.

Penalty for wrong Answers -
 
There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answer marked by the candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
 
There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate. One third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
 
If a candidate given more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be same penalty as above for that question.
 
If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question. 
 

 

NDA Preparation

NDA 2020 Preparation:-
 
For Mathematics paper, question will be asked from 10+2 level. Hence, it is advisable that candidates should practice and solve questions from 10th to 12th class, working on key section such as Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry. Try to read newspapers daily to improve reading skills. English paper will broadly cover grammar, synonyms, antonyms and reading Comprehensions.With Physics, Chemistry and General Science, try to stick with the basics that have been taught from 10th to 12th class.

NCO

National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) is now a global search competition that aims at identifying and nurturing cyber talent amongst the youngsters. It is as much about inspiring the younger generation to enhance their knowledge and comprehension of issues related to computers and IT as about testing their aptitude in these streams. It is an international level competition focusing on Mental Ability, Logical & Analytical Reasoning in computers and IT.

Students of classes 2nd to 12th are eligible to appear for the 1st level NCO. Those who qualify for the 2nd level exam include top 5% of student’s class wise who appear for the 1st level exam, state wise top 10 rank holders class wise and class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 75% qualifying marks.

Students have to register for the exam only from their school itself. NCO does not accept individual participation of the candidate from any other mode.

NCHMCT JEE

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts e National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2020 (NCHM JEE) for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.HHA)  across the Country.
 
NCHM JEE 2020 Eligibility:-
 
Age Limit - 
 
For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2020. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1995 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.07.2020. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1992 are eligible. Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/EWS/SC/ST/OBC. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of counseling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for Counselling/admission. 
 
Qualification -
 
10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2020 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2020.

NBE AIPGMEE

National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) for admission to MD/MS and post graduate diploma courses. This exam is conducted for admission to 50 percent quota of MD/MS diploma courses all over the country is applicable to all medical colleges and institutions across India. As per existing rules medical colleges and institutes are not permitted to conduct post graduate competitive exams in medicine.The exception to this is the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. As such students who have passed MBBS examination from any of the institutions in these two states are not eligible to participate in this competitive entrance exam.

NBE AIPGMEE 2017 Eligibility:-

1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
2.  A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college (Appendix-III) or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.

NATA

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to first year of 5 year B.Arch Degree course at all recognized institutions all over the country. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability. This is a complete and comprehensive assesement of candidates for undergraduate education in architecture. Admission to all architecture colleges (including government, government-aided, private unaided, university department, deemed universities) in India is done on the basis of NATA score. 
 
NATA 2020 Eligibility:-
 
The candidates who have passed 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate, shall be eligible to appear for NATA 2020.
 
The candidates appearing for 10+2 examination with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2020, subject to fulfilling the above criteria.
 
The candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL category or PwD (Persons with disability) shall be provided a relaxation of 5% marks in total aggregate in 10+2 level/10+3 Diploma as well as PCM. 

Validity of NATA 2020 score -
 
NATA 2020 score shall be valid only for admission in the session 2020-2021.

Mumbai University PhD PET

Mumbai University has always been a second home for PhD aspirants wishing to seek the highest degree of specialization. MU offers PhD in the concerned subjects of research of the faculty of arts, commerce, science, law and technology. No other university in India offers such choice in terms of specialization. Admission to these programmes is done through Mumbai University PhD PET. This objective entrance exam tests candidates in relevant subjects of separate faculties. Candidates with a master's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks are eligible to apply.Applicants with national level teacher fellowship are exempted from appearing for this exam.

Mumbai University MCA Entrance

The Institute of Distance and Open Learning University of Mumbai directs Mumbai University Entrance test for admission to MCA course through distance and open learning mode. Admission to MCA (Master of Computer Applications) course offered by the University of Mumbai is open to citizens of India residing in India only. NRI and foreign students whether residing in India or abroad are not eligible to apply. 
 
Duration: The duration of the M.C.A course extends over six semesters (three years), spreading up equally over three academic years. Each semester is of 12-16 weeks durations, besides the time spent for examinations.
