Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission in Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of merit which is based on his/her academic career performance, Entrance Examination and Extracurricular activities.

Minimum Qualification: - + 2 Science / equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.)

The candidate must have completed 17 years of age by 31.12.2020.

Admission is open to the following categories of candidates:-

i)  Those who have passed H.S.C. / Equivalent Examination with Odia as M.I.L.

ii)   Those who do not have Odia as M .I. L. but whose parents are permanent residents of Odisha must furnish evidence of such permanent residency in the form of a certificate from  the  Revenue  Officer  concerned  not  below  the  rank  of  Tahasildar  /District Magistrate. No affidavit to this effect shall be entertained.

iii)  Those who do not have Odia as M.I.L but whose parents are serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking or any University in the State of Odisha, the candidate must furnish a certificate to that effect from the Head of the Office /Institution where his/her parent (s) is/are working.

iv)    Odia candidates permanently residing outside Odisha must furnish a certificate to the effect  that  he/she  is  an  Odia  permanently  residing  outside  Odisha  which  must  be issued by the District Magistrate of the District in which he/she is residing.

There will be a COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc.(Ag), B.Sc. (Forestry), B. Sc. (Horticulture), B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Home Science) courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her performance of academic career, Entrance Examination and Extra curricular activities. If two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/equivalent in that order

The candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. (Forestry) Course should qualify Physical Endurance Test to be conducted before counseling of each category. To appear at Physical Endurance Test, the candidates should posses the minimum physical standard as follows.

Eligibility requirement (B.Sc. Forestry)

1) Height

i) Male (General & SC) = 163cm.,ST = 152cm

ii) Female (General & SC) = 150cm., ST = 145cm

2) Chest girth i) Male = 79cm to 84cm (Minimum 5 cm. expansion)
ii) Female = 74cm to 79 cm (Minimum 5 cm. expansion)

3) Physical capacity for Fast walking in four hours :-

i) Male = 25km ii) Female = 14km.

At the time of submission of online application Form-A, the candidate has to fill in the particulars such as correct Aadhaar / Aadhaar Enrolment number (optional), personal information etc. and upload his/her recent passport size colour photograph (Height: 200px, width: 150px, file size: 200kb maximum), full signature (Height: 100px, width: 150px, file size: 200kb maximum) in jpg/jpeg format. After submission of online application Form-A, an application number will be generated and sent to his/her mobile number & e-mail). Osmania University PhD Eligibility Test

 
Osmania University directs Osmania University Ph.D. Eligibility Test for admission to Ph.D. programmes in faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Management, Education, Law, Science, Oriental Languages, Engineering, Pharmacy and Informatics. The basic objective of this test is to assess the aptitude of aspirants wishing to apply for Phd in Osmania University. Ph.D. aspirants with post graduate qualification from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this assesment. UGC- NET / CSIR - NET / ICMR/ ICAR / DBT- JRF/ INSPIRE fellowship and Teacher Fellowship aspirants are exempt from appearing for this entrance test that is conducted for Ph.D. Admission at Osmania university.
 
Eligibility for Osmania University Ph.D Eligibility Test 2018:-  
 
To be eligible to appear for Ph.D. Eligibility Test - 2018 being conducted by Osmania University in the subjects pertaining to faculties mentioned above, a candidate must have obtained a Post Graduate degree from a recognized university or a Post-Graduate degree through distance mode from a recognized university and approved by the concerned authority, in the concerned subject or in an allied subject approved by Osmania University securing not less than 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST candidates). If the results of Post Graduate Degree are declared in the form of Grades/Credits/Cumulative Grade Points Average in their marks cards/Transcripts, such Grades/Points shall be converted into percentage of marks to assess the minimum eligibility criteria. 
 
Note: The candidates have to appear in the Ph.D. Eligibility Test in the subject in which they wish to pursue Ph.D. (For eg. A candidate with M.Com. qualification may pursue Ph.D. in Business Management provided he/she appears and qualifies in the Ph.D. Eligibility Test in the subject of Business Management). 
 
However, the following categories of the candidates are exempted from appearing in the Ph.D. Eligibility test.
 
1. Those who are awarded research fellowship in a national level test namely UGC-NET / CSIRNET/ ICMR / ICAR / DBT-JRF / INSPIRE fellowship and Teacher Fellowship applicants subject to the clearance by the Dean, CDC, OU. 
 
2. Those who are qualified UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / APSET / JEST / GATE / GPAT examinations.
 
3. Those who hold M. Phil. Degree in regular mode from O.U. in the concerned subject or Ph. D. in an allied subject approved by Osmania University.

The prescribed application form along with the Ph.D. Rules and Regulations can be downloaded from the University website www.osmania.ac.in.
 
Filled in application along with all the required enclosures and a Demand Draft for Rs.250/- towards registration fee drawn in favour of the Dean of the concerned faculty, OU payable at Hyderabad should be submitted on all working days in the Office of the concerned Dean, between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on or before 02.12.2017. Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducts ODISHA SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (OSSTET) for appointment as a teacher in any of the secondary schools of the state.
 
OTET 2018 Eligibility:-
 
(I) Persons having the following minimum qualifications shall be eligible for appearing in OTET.
 
(a) Category-A ( Paper- I )
 
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(CT).

Photograph & Signature Scan and Upload

PHOTOGRAPH IMAGE

• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
• The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
• If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

SIGNATURE IMAGE

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary
• The Applicant's signature obtained on the call letter and attendance sheet at the time of examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 10kb —20kb.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.

SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH & SIGNATURE

• Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
• Set Color to True Color‘.
• File Size as specified above.
• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).
• The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01 .jpg or image01 .jpeg. Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. Candidates using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB & 20KB respectively by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50KB (photograph) & 20KB (signature) by using crop and then resize option. Please See point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size in the 'Image' menu. Similar options are available in other photo editor also.

If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed. While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature.

• There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature.
• Click on the respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature".
• Browse & Select the location where the Scanned Photo/ Signature file has been saved.
• Select the file by clicking on it.

OJEE MCA

OJEE MCA  or Odisha Joint Entrance Exam MCA is a state level entrance assessment directed for admission to first/second year Master of Computer Application (MCA) course. OJEE MCA tests the mathematical ability and computer awareness of candidates wishing to apply for MCA admission in Orissa. Directed by the Government of Odisha this state-level PG entrance test is conducted at the start of the academic year, usually in the second or third week of May. 
 
Eligibility for OJEE MCA 2020: 
 
Passed or appearing in Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45 % in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying Examination.
 
If the candidate has passed BCA with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level.
 
There is no age limit to admission to MCA course.
