TOEFL

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language.  

Having an international degree in today’s competitive world, adds an extra charm to a candidate’s personality. It not only opens up new horizon but also enhances the person’s employment opportunities. Over the years, it has been observed that there are many people who start catching flights to foreign countries, with an aim of achieving an international degree; be it in Engineering, Medical or Management. But, getting admission in any of the foreign universities is not as easy as it sounds. One has to go through few entrance exams, serving as prerequisites for admission to the foreign universities.
 
TOEFL exam is one of such exams, which is conducted every year to judge the comprehensive understanding of English as a language among those students who wish to pursue higher education in foreign countries. The exam is taken to test reading, listening, speaking and writing skills of aspiring students.  
 
It’s an online exam that is offered 30 to 40 times a year. TOEFL exam is conducted in online as well as offline mode. However, people generally opt for internet based test. Currently, 8,500 colleges and universities scattered over 130 countries, use TOEFL exam’s score.

 

TOEFL Registration / Application Form

TOEFL 2020 Online Application and Registration Procedure:-

Candidates, who are interested in appearing for TOEFL exam, must register themselves. Registration can be done in any one of the following four methods i.e. Online, Phone and in Person. Due to the availability of internet, many people opt for Online Registration. 

For Online Registration, candidates should enter their personal details without any error. The online registration should be made seven days before the test.  Payment of examination fee can be made by using credit cards or debit cards.   
 
Through Phone:-
After filling the Registration form (PDF version), student should review it and make a call to the regional registration office of TOEFL. During the call, students will be asked to spell their details correctly. The call should be made until 5.00 in evening. Payment can be done by using credit card or debit card. Candidate can also use electronic check for making payment.
 
Registration in Person:-
In some regions, candidates can register themselves by visiting at a local regional office of TOEFL. The registration process can be done against the cash payment of $ 144 (Rs. 5500).

TJEE

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) conducts Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) for admission to Engineering, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical and other Professional Degree Courses against available seats reserved for the State of Tripura.
 
TJEE 2020 Eligibility:-
 
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
 
Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination 2020. b) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3 year degree progremme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4 year degree progrmmes should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester. 
 
c) Only those Candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by Monday, June 10, 2020 are eligible to apply to all the programme.
 
Till the time the candidate submit results of the final year degree examination, admission to any of the Master's Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional. The results of the final examination have to be submitted before September 30, 2020. Those who fail to do so the provisional admission stands cancelled.

Telangana POLYCET

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State.

Telangana POLYCET 2020 Eligibility:-

Candidate shall be an Indian National.

Candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
 
Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained atleast 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
 
Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
 
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2020, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2020.
 
There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2020. However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed in Memo No. 10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, and issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
 
Mere appearing for POLYCET-2020 and obtaining a merit rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admission.
