TAPMI

TAPMI 2019 is the entrance examination which is generally conducted every year in the month of January for the students who have qualified the management test like CAT/ XAT etc. The procedure is conducted by the TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal. This provides admissions in various business programs. The candidates can apply for the TAPMI 2019 only if they have cleared the management tests. TAPMI 2019 Eligibility Criteria:-

It is quite imperative that the applicants must be eligible for the admissions and satisfy all the norms of the eligibility criteria which have been decided by the official exam authority. These set of clauses included in the TAPMI 2019 Eligibility Criteria must have to be satisfied before proceeding further.

• The aspirant must be graduated in the discipline with the minimum of 50% marks.
• The candidate must have the scores of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT etc.

TANCET MBA

The Exam of TANCET MBA 2020 will be scheduled in the month of February 2020. This is the MBA entrance examination which is conducted every year to take the students for the management courses. The Anna University, Tamil Nadu is the exam organizing authority. The Exam of TANCET MBA 2020 will be beneficial to get the admissions in the colleges of Tamil Nadu only as this examination will be conducted at the state level. The application procedure will be commenced in the month of January 2020 and the interested candidates can fill the form in the offline or online mode as per convenient mode. 
 
TANCET MBA 2020 Eligibility Conditions:-

 A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

(a) 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years pattern
 (or)
(b) 10 + 3 years Diploma +3 years pattern

Documents and Particulars required for Registration -
 
Unique email-ID and mobile number of the candidate, which will be used for sending OTP and for further communication.
 
Tenth (S.S.L.C) Registration Number and Year of Passing.
 
Plus 2 (Higher Secondary) Registration Number and Year of Passing.
 
A passport photo of good quality either in jpg or in png format. The photo should be full face, front view, with eyes open. The head should be at the centre. The photograph should be in colour and of the size minimum of 2 inch x 2 inch (51 mm x 51 mm).
 
Copy of community certificate in pdf format. (for those who come under SC/ST/SCA categories)

TANCET

Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test better known by the name TANCET 2020 exam is a common assessment conducted for admission to post graduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) course and also to post graduate programmes of Engineering (M.E), Technology (M.Tech), Architecture (M.Arch) and Planning (M.Plan) in colleges of Tamilnadu. Administered by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamilnadu this test is important for candidates wishing to seek admission to post graduate degree programmes in colleges of the state. The exam is also open to non residents of the state of Tamilnadu.

Graduates in any stream are eligible to apply for this test. Students pursuing their final year/ semester exam of graduation are also eligible to apply for this exam.

TANCET 2020 Eligibility:-

MBA - 

The question paper will have the following sections -
 
i) Evaluate the candidate’s ability to identify critically the data and apply the data to business decisions from given typical business situations.
ii) Evaluate the skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension.
iii) Evaluate the skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level.
iv) Test on determining data sufficiency for answering certain questions using the given data and the knowledge of mathematics and use of day-to-day facts.
v) Test the knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation, etc
 
MCA / MCA (Lateral Entry) -
 
The question paper will have the following sections:
 
i) Quantitative ability ii) Analytical reasoning
iii) Logical reasoning iv) Computer awareness
 
A few questions may also be on verbal activity, basic science, etc. 
 
M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan -
 
The question paper will have three parts.
 
Part-I and Part-II are compulsory and under Part-III the candidates have to answer the section which has been chosen at the time of registration. If a candidate appears for different section, Part – III will not be evaluated.
 
Candidates with Section ‘A’ & ‘B’ certificates (A.M.I.E.) and other similar certificates of professional bodies viz. Aeronautical Society of India, etc., recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and enrolled before 31.5.2013 are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders, only with 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work. An experience certificate shall be produced by the candidates.

TNTET 2019 Eligibility:-
 
Minimum Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V) -
 
1. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
2. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Or
3. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or
4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

5. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

7. Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. programme, recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET. Moreover, as per existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11.02.2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET.

Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent color passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 kB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 kB) separately. 
 
Examination Fees -
 
i. The Examination fee is Rs. 500/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 250/-. Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Person with Disability category. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded.
 
ii. Online payment to be made only through Payment Gateway. (Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card)
 
iii. Offline mode of payment in any form such as Demand Draft / Postal order etc. will not be accepted.
 
iv. The candidates, who want to appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II, should pay separately for both.

TNSET 2019 Eligibility:-
 
1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) for General Category and 50% for Backward Classes/Most Backward Classes (MBC) / De-Notified Communities (DNC) / Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD-VH/PH), in Master Degree or equivalent examination from Universities / Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi in subjects like Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Sciences etc., are eligible to appear for this test.
 
2. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the Master Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the TNSET- 2019 examination, eligibility certificate will be issued only on production of proof for having passed the Master degree or equivalent examination securing at least 55% marks (without rounding off) for General Category and 50% for Backward Classes / Most Backward Classes (MBC) / De-Notified Communities (DNC) / Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD-VH/PH) within two years from the date of TNSET-2019 examination, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.
 
3. The Ph.D. Degree holders who have completed the Master Degree on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for appearing in TNSET-2019 examination.
 
4. Candidates shall appear for TNSET-2019 examination in their relevant subject of their Post-Graduation only. In case the Candidate did not find the subject of their Post Graduation in the list of TNSET-2019 subjects, the Candidate may appear in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.
 
5. Candidates other than General Category are required to mention their Social Status in the Online Application Form. Candidates may note that they should satisfy the eligibility conditions with reference to the documents such as PG degree mark statement, Community Certificate and Certificates related to PwD (VH/PH) uploaded with their applications. The Community Certificates submitted by the candidates must be issued by the competent authority. In case any of the Certificates mentioned above is found to be invalid by the TNSET 2019 agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.
 
6. Candidates should note that their candidature is provisional. The mere fact that an admission card has been issued to a candidate will not imply that the TNSET 2019 Centre has accepted his/her candidature. Candidates may note that candidature will be deemed final only upon verification of eligibility conditions.
 
AGE LIMIT:- There is no upper age limit for applying for Tamilnadu SET 2019 examination.

SVURESET

SVU Research Entrance Test (SVURESET) is being conducted for admission into research programme leading to Ph.D. in different disciplines in S.V. University Colleges (campus), Tirupati, SV University College of Engineering, Tirupati, Colleges affiliated to SV University and Research Institutions/Laboratories with recognized supervisors for the year 2017-18. Ph.D. degree programme shall be pursued either on full-time or part-time basis in the concerned subject of post graduation.

SVURESET 2018 Eligibility:-

Candidates who have secured at least a Second Class with 55% or above marks in Master’s degree of S.V University in the concerned discipline or an examination recognized as equivalent there to by SV University, are eligible to apply. However, a relaxation of 5% of marks is allowed to SC/ST Candidates.

For Ph.D. programme in Engineering, a candidate should have passed Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology with First class either at Under-Graduate level or Post-Graduate level.

Candidates applied for full-time are eligible only for full-time Ph.D

Candidates applied for Part-time are eligible for Ph.D.as follows:

For part time Ph.D candidates should enclose Xerox copy of the service certificate and first page of service register.
If the part time applicants wish to join in full time Ph.D, at the time of admission he should submit resignation and relieving letter from the concerned organization.

The Candidates who were admitted provisionally for Ph.D under RGNF/DST Inspire / Moulana Azaad National / Kasturbha / Project fellow in SVU Campus etc., have to apply for SVURESET-2018. They have to qualify either NET / APSET / SVURESET for conformation within 2 years failing which their registration will be cancelled.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

Staff Selection Commission conducts recruitment to Group C (non-technical) & Group B (non – gazette - both technical & non-technical) posts in various departments of  the Government of India, its attached & subordinate offices except those for which recruitment is made by the Railway Recruitment Boards & Industrial establishments.
