UTET

The Right to Education act (RTE) not only advocates the fundamental right to education for each child but also highlights the importance of bringing quality to education. Teachers form an important part of educational infrastructure and good educaters are seemingly the backbone of a strong system of education. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) lays down certain guidelines for recruitment of teachers. An important guideline is the  conduct of a Teacher EligibilityTest (TET) by the appropriate government.
 
The Teacher Eligibility test in Uttarakhand is known as UTET (Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test). UTET is important for teaching aspirants wishing to be employed as teachers in primary (class I to V) and upper primary (class VI to VIII) in schools of the state of Uttarakhand. 
 
The exam is extremely important for B.Ed aspirants who wish to be considered for government jobs in government and privately managed schools. Aspirants can appear for either Paper I or Paper II or for both papers. A candidate who has passed the exam with the required percentage is considered as a UTET pass. 
 
Eligibility for UTET 2016
 
UTET Qualification for Class (I to V) Paper-01
•Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with minimum of 45 percent marks.
•Those appearing for final year exam of 02 year Diploma in Elementary (D.Ed) Education/04 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/02 year diploma in Special Education are eligible to apply for this paper. 
•Candidates with BA/B.Sc and B.Ed degree are also eligible to apply.
 
UTET Qualification for Class (VI to VIII) Paper-02
•Candidates with B.A/B.Sc and those appearing for final year of D.Ed/B.Ed exam are eligible to apply.
•Applicant should have passed B.A/B.Sc exam with a minimum of 45 percent marks. 
•Senior Secondary with atleast 50 percent marks and passed or appearing for final four year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/4 year B.A/B.Sc Ed./B.A (Ed)/B.Sc (Ed)/B.Ed (Special Education) with atleast 50 percent marks in B.A/B.Sc are eligible to apply for Paper- 02.

For admission to first year of BHMCT/BFAD/BFA, candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. 
 
 
For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects as given.
 
A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, and provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch. Paper 4.
 
For admission to first year of B.Tech.(Agriculture), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. Also all First year B.Tech. Eligible candidates are also eligible for B.Tech. Agriculture.
 
All candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech. Courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Biotechnology).

Age Limits:-  

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.

The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable as follows :—
 
(i)  up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belong to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;
(ii)  up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidate belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;

Minimum Educational Qualifications:-
     
(a) A candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
             
(b)  A  candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics /Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics /Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of  Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

NOTE 1.- A candidate who has appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them eligible to appear at this examination, but has not been informed of the result, may apply for admission to the examination. A candidate who intends to appear at such a qualifying examination may also apply. Such a candidate will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible, but his/her admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if his/her does not produce the proof of having passed the requisite qualifying examination along with the Detailed Application Form  which will be required to be submitted by the candidate who  qualify on the results of the written part of the examination.

NOTE 2.- In exceptional cases, the Union Public Service Comm ission may treat a candidate, who has none of the foregoing qualification, as a qualified candidate provided that he/she has passed examinations conducted by other institutions the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission, justifies his/her admission to the examination.

NOTE 3.- A candidate who is otherwise qualified but who has taken a degree from a Foreign University may also apply to the Commission and may be admitted to the examination at the discretion of the Commission.

UPSC Geologists

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds a competitive Examination named Geologists Exam  for recruitment to the posts of two categories viz. Category I (Posts in Geological Survery of India) and Category II (Posts in Central Ground Water Board).

UPSC Geologists 2020 Eligibility Criteria:-
 

Age Limits -

 
a) For Geologist and Geophysicist and Chemist (Group 'A') in the Geological Survey of India, an attached office of Ministry of Mines, Government of India: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the first day of the month of January of the year in which the Examination is to be held (i.e. as on 1st January, 2020] i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January 1999.
 
b) For Jr. Hydrogeologist (Scientist B) (Group A) in Central Ground water Board, Ministry of Water Resources:- Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained at the age of 35 years on 1st January, 2020 i.e. he/she must have been born not later than 2nd January 1985 and not later than 1s t January 1999. 
 
The upper age limit prescribed above will be further relaxable as follows:
 
i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidate belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

b) For Geophysicists Gr ' A ' in Geological Survey of India - M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or other educational institutes established by an Act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed universities under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
 
c) For Chemists Gr 'A' in Geological Survey of India - M.Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature or other educational Institutes established by an Act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed Universities under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 i.e. recognized University. 
 
ii) For Junior Hydrgeologists (Scientist B), Group 'A' in Central Ground Water Board -
 
(a) Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational Institutes established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
(b) Master's degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized University.

NOTE - Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission’s examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination in the year 2020 ll also be eligible for admission to the examination. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of having passed the requisite examination along with the Detailed  Application Form which will be required to be submitted online by the candidates who after qualifying on the result of the written part of the examination are also declared qualified in the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. Such proof of passing the requisite examination should be dated earlier than the due date (closing date) of Detailed Application Form of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2020.

Medical services are an important part of government organizations.  This department is just as important as administrative affairs, revenue, engineering or any other service. Every department or functionary of the government requires medical services. In India the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is a major recruitment agency for the government conducts Combined Medical Exam (CMS) for recruitment of medical personnel in government organization and services.

Eligibility for CMS 2020:

Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is 32 years as on January, 01 of the year of admission.

Educational Qualification:-

a) An MBBS degree from an MCI recognized university in India.

b) Applicants appearing for final year MBBS exam are also eligible to apply.

c) Qualified candidates of the written test are required to submit proof of passing the written and practical test of final MBBS exam along with their application form.

d) An applicant yet to complete compulsory rotating internship is eligible for admission however he will be appointed only after completing internship.

Nationality: (WHO CAN APPLY FOR THIS EXAM):-

a)Candidates from India/Bhutan and Nepal can apply for the exam.

b)Refugees from Tibet who have settled in the country before 01.01.1962.
