• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun conducts Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) for admission to (1st Year – B. Pharma., BHMCT, and MCA ,MBA, M. Tech, M. Pharma.)(Lateral Entry – B. Pharma., B. Tech., and MCA).
 
UKSEE 2020 Eligibility:-
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - 
 
i. ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY: B. Tech. Lateral Entry to 2nd year (for Uttarakhand Domicile & Academic domicile only)
 
A. Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
 
B. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
 
C. Provided that in case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects.
 
D. Provided further that, the students belonging to B. Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
 
E. Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved Institution or B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in A, B,C, and D above.
 
ii. PHARMACY (B. Pharm. 1st Year) - Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics /Biotechnology / Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
 
iii. PHARMACY (B. Pharm. Lateral Entry - 2nd ear) (for Uttarakhand Domicile & Academic domicile only) - Passed Diploma examination in a Program from an AICTE approved Institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate Program.
 
iv. HOTEL MANAGEMENT & CATERING TECHNOLOGY (BHMCT) - Should have passed 10+2 examination. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
 
v. MCA (1st Year) - Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
 
vi. MCA : Lateral Entry - 2nd Year (for Uttarakhand Domicile & Academic domicile only) Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
 
vii. MBA (1st Year) - Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
 
Note: CAT / MAT qualified candidates are eligible for counseling without appearing in UKSEE – 2017, however they have to fill up the registration form.
 
Admission through counseling will be offered first to CAT / MAT qualified candidates, and if seats remain vacant candidates qualifying the entrance examination of the University UKSEE – 2017 (In order of merit) will be offered
 
viii. M. Pharm. (1st Year) - Bachelor in Pharmacy. Obtained at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

UGC NET

From Dec 2018 onwards, the UGC NET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. 
 
Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2020:- 
 
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
 
The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
 
Candidates who are pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Junior Research Fellowship/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master's Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC falling in Non-Creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD (persons with disability)) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their Masters degree or equivalent examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
 
Candidates belonging to third gender in other words transgender would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying criteria for NET (i.e. Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor) as are available to SC/ST/PwD categories. The subject wise cut-offs for this category should be the lowest among those for SC/ST/PwD/OBC NCL categories in the corresponding subject.
 
The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
 
Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post graduation only. The candidates, whose post graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects, may appear in a related subject.
 
Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

UGAT

You may have certainly heard of AIMA's Management Aptitude Test (MAT) but are you aware of UGAT. If not and you want to know then your are certainly on the right page. Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test conducted by AIMA annually for admission to under graduate programs of BBA, BCA, BHM, integrated MBA into institutes, colleges and universities of the states of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Uttarkhand and West Bengal. These colleges together are known as UGAT participating institutes. Candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination or who will be appearing for class 12 exam are eligible to apply.

Aspirants have an option of selecting five participating institutes for admission. The data and score of candidates is provided directly to the participating institutes. Institutes / Colleges / universities can decide on the cut-off score for admission or for further screening based on the number of seats available.

UGAT 2020 Eligibility:-
 

The minimum qualification is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Students appearing / appeared in 10+2 can also apply.

UCEED

Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay for Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes at IIT Bombay,  IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur 
 
UCEED 2020 Eligibility:-
 
Age limit -
 
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1995 if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
 
Number of attempts -
 
A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year.
 
Qualifying examination -
 
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2019, OR appearing in 2020. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.
 
Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2018 or earlier are NOT eligible.
 
 
QUALIFYING EXAMINATION -
 
The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (www.aiuweb.org).
 
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
 
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
 
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
 
Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
 
H.S.C. vocational examination.
 
A Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (www.aicteindia.org) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration.
 
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
 
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
 
Candidates who have completed Class XII (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class XII examination.
 
In case the Class XII examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.
