1. The candidate must be an Indian National.
2. A candidate who has passed final BDS examination with completion of one year compulsory rotatory internship from a recognized Dental College, included in the schedule of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1948 will be eligible to appear for the entrance examination.

Kerala TET (KTET)

Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) is conducted by the Government of Kerala. The persons recruited as teachers should possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling. It is the examination to assess the eligibility of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala. Separate test are conducted to select teachers for Category I (Lower Primary classes), Category II (Upper Primary classes) and Category III (High School classes).

 

The test is divided into  four categories-Category I, Category II , Category III & Category IV.



The test is for:

 

  • those who intend to be a teacher for Lower Primary classes and fulfills the minimum educational qualification (Category I)
  •  
  • those who intend to be a teacher for Upper Primary classes and fulfills the minimum qualification (Category II)
  •  
  • those who intend to be a teacher for High School classes and fulfils the minimum qualification (Category III)
  •  
  • those who intend to be a language teacher up to Upper Primary classes and fulfill the minimum qualification. For Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers, K-TET is applicable up to High School level (Category IV).

 

Eligibility for KTET 2020 :

 

A. CATEGORY-I (for Lower Primary classes)
 
Minimum Qualifications to apply 
 
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board ofExamination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
 
OR
 
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
 
OR
 
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
 
OR
 
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
 
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET – I 
 
Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently abled categories. (as per the norms or as desired by the Govt. of Kerala) and relaxation of 3% in qualifying marks is admissible for OBC & OEC candidates. Candidate also are awaiting the result of the final semester of exam like DEd, Bed etc also can apply for the K-TET.
 
B. CATEGORY II: (for Upper Primary classes)
 
Minimum Qualifications to apply
 
i) B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
 
OR
 
B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
 
OR
 
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
 
OR
 
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
 
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET - II
 
Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently abled categories. A relaxation of 3% in the minimum qualifying marks is admissible for OBC & OEC candidates.
 
C. CATEGORY III (for High School classes)
 
Those who possess minimum educational qualifications as delineated here under are eligible to appear for K-TET III. The test is for HSAs in: (i) Malayalam (ii) English (iii) Hindi (iv) Sanskrit (v) Tamil (vi) Kannada (vii) Arabic (viii) Urdu (ix) Social Science (x) Physical Science (xi) Natural Science and (xii) Mathematics
 
Minimum qualification to apply
 
(i) BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto.)
 
(ii) For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.
 
NOTE:-
 
Candidates, who have acquired Diploma/Degree in teaching in any subject and are 
 
approved by Universities/NCTE/Board of Examinations/Govt. of Kerala, are eligible to apply for K-TET III. They will have to produce the equivalency certificate as recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala/ Government of Kerala.
 
Candidates who have acquired their qualifications through recognized correspondence courses/ Open universities should obtain and furnish certificates of recognition and equivalency from any one of the Universities in Kerala.
 
For considering the minimum qualifications, the marks for main and subsidiary papers only will be considered. 
 
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET - III
 
Candidates belonging to SC/ST and differently abled categories shall be granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum qualifying marks. Relaxation of 3% in the qualifying marks is admissible to OBC & OEC candidates to appear for the K-TET III.
 
D. CATEGORY- IV
 
For Language teachers in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers (up to High School level)
 
For teachers of Art Education and Craft Education, the existing, eligibility norms prescribed by the State Government shall be applicable till the time when NCTE lays down the minimum qualification.
 
This test will be for the category of candidates who intends to be a language teacher up to Upper Primary classes and fulfills the minimum qualifications (For specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers, the Eligibility Test is applicable up to High School level).
 
Minimum Qualifications to apply
 
Those who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter XXXI of KERALA EDUCATION ACT AND RULES are eligible to apply for K-TET IV.
 
Note- Candidates, who have acquired Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in teaching in any 
subject, and are approved by Universities/NCTE/ Board of Examinations/ Government of Kerala, are eligible to apply for K-TET-IV.
 
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET - IV
 
Candidates belonging to SC/ST and differently abled categories will be granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying marks prescribed for the eligibility to appear for the K-TETIV. The minimum requirement of a pass in second class for the qualifying examination shall not be applicable in such cases. 
 
Candidates belonging to OBC & OEC categories will be granted a relaxation of 3% marks in the qualifying marks prescribed for the eligibility to appear for K-TET-IV.

Kerala PG Medical

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala conducts Common Entrance Examination (PG Medical Entrance Examintation) for admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma (MD/MS) courses in the Medical Colleges / Institutions in the State.

Kerala PG Medical Exam 2017 Eligibility:-

Academic: Those candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized by the MCI with the MBBS qualification registered permanently or provisionally with MCI or State Medical Council and who have completed one year of Internship or likely to complete it on or before 31st March 2016 are eligible to apply. Applicants should have passed the MBBS Degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or any other University recognized by KUHS as equivalent thereto with eligibility for full registration in respect of all courses. Admission to the candidate will be given only after obtaining registration of T.C. Medical Council.

Nativity:

Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:-

i) Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
ii) Candidates who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents who have obtained MBBS degree from any of the Medical Colleges in Kerala State. But they will not be eligible for communal/Special/PD reservation benefits.

The data entry can be made only after uploading his/her photograph. The soft copy of photograph as specified below is to be selected using the browse button and uploaded.

Photograph:-

A studio generated soft copy of latest passport size color photograph with a light colored background in JPEG format between 15 KB to 30 KB of size and resolution 150 x 200 pixels is to be used for uploading. The photograph should not be taken with the candidate wearing Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER /MOBILE-PHONE generated photos are not acceptable. A printed copy of passport size photograph (same as that uploaded online) should be firmly pasted in the space provided in the printout of application.

The candidate has to remit the application fee at State Bank of Tranvancore using the Bank Chalan obtained along with the printout of the application. However, candidate outside Kerala may remit the requisite application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The Bank Challan/Demand Draft in original’ has to be sent along with the application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Kerala PG Dental

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, (CEE) Govt. of Kerala conducts P.G. Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate courses in Dental Surgery (MDS- Master of Dental Surgery) in eight different specialties.

Kerala PG Dental Exam 2017 Eligibility:-

(i) The candidate / applicant must be an Indian National / Person of Indian Origin,
(ii) Possessing a BDS degree from an approved Dental College and duly awarded by any one of the Universities in Kerala or duly recognized by the Government of India as equivalent thereto under the Indian Dentists Act, 1948 and who has
(iii) Obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council after passing the final BDS examination or its equivalent thereto with eligibility for full Registration in Kerala State Dental Council in all respects, and has,
(iv) Completed one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Internship in an approved/recognized Dental College shall be eligible.

The first step for filling up application is to upload applicant’s recent passport size photograph.

• If the face in the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected.
• If the photograph is not clear, the candidate should edit the application and upload a clear photograph again.
• The uploaded photo and photo affixed on the printout of the application should be identical. Otherwise application is likely to be rejected.

Login is required to proceed through all other stages of online submission. In order to login, candidate should provide Application number and Password.

Uploading Photo :

The first step for filling up application is to upload applicant’s recent passport size photograph.

Guidelines for scanning and uploading photograph: For applying online, the candidates must have scanned/digital image of his/her photograph.

The Specification of photograph image should be as follows:-

• Photograph should be of passport size format. Front view of full face and shoulder portion of candidate is to be seen clearly in the photograph.
• The face of the candidate should be straight and at the centre.
• Photograph must be in colour with a light colour background, white is preferable.
• Photo wearing caps and dark glasses will be rejected.
• Scanned image file should be in jpg (jpeg) format only.
• Dimensions of the photograph 150 pixels width and 200 pixels height
• Size of the image file should be between 15 kb and 30 kb
• Candidate’s name and date of photo taken should be printed at the bottom portion of the photograph with black letter and white background

Remit the required fee at any of the branches of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan available with the printout of the online application. The candidate will be given a fee receipt. The‘fee receipt in original’ has to be sent along with the application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

The candidates outside Kerala can remit the application fee by way of a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General candidates is Rs. 1000/- (Rupees Thousand only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O (MS) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 22.06.2005 is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). The Prospectus can be downloaded from this website. The application forms and the prospectus will not be available from the Dental Colleges or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Service candidate seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra Rs. 1000/-.

Kerala MCA

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) on behalf of the Government of Kerala conducts Kerala MCA entrance exam for admission to MCA Programs in the state of Kerala. This Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is directed for admission to three year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course in AICTE approved institutions in the state. Admission is conducted through Central Allotment process (CAP). 
 
 MCA seats in Kerala are mainly classified as government, management and lapsed seats:
 
(a) Government seats are those seats against which allotment will be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) based on the rank list published by him. 
 
(b) Management seats are those seats set apart in Aided / Self financing institutions to be filled up by the Management concerned on the basis of the Supreme Court direction and Government Orders on this behalf. 
 
(c) Lapsed seats are those seats that may be filled up by the institution itself when the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations intimates that he would not be allotting any more candidates against such seats. 
 
Eligibility for Kerala MCA Entrance 2017 : 
 
Aspirants with a degree of minimum three duration (after 10+2) with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering and Technology as main/subsidiary or core subjects are eligible to apply for Kerala MCA Entrance 2015.
 
In addition to this, aspirants should have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in their degree examination. For SEBC and physically handicapped candidates, the aggregate marks required is 45%. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient.

  • STEP # 02: Click on the link "Candidate Registration" and fill in registration details. On completion of the same you will receive your login ID and password.

  • STEP # 04: Then click on the link "Apply online" for Kerala MCA. (Fill in details and upload your passport sized photograph not less than 30 KB and signature. Please note that photos clicked through mobile phone or polariod camera will not be accepted ).

Kerala Five Year LLB Entrance Exam

Kerala Five Year LL.B Entrance Exam is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination for admission to  Integrated Five Year LL.B Course in the four Government Law Colleges of Kerala and in the Private Self-financing Law Colleges of Kerala which have entered into seat sharing agreement with the State Government. This paper-pen based OMR test is aimed at assessing the general awareness and legal aptitude of class 12 students who wish to enroll for integrated five year LL.B courses in Kerala. This is the second law-based entrance exam directed by Commissionerate of Entrance Examination for law admission in Kerala. Eligibility for Kerala Five Year LL.B Entrance Exam 2020:-
 
Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
 
Academic Qualifications: 
 
a) Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other examination recognised by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto.
 
b) A candidate who has passed an examination in 10+2 Course of schooling recognised by the educational authority of the Central or State Government or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course. Applicants who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission. The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission.
 
c) Candidates who are appearing/ appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
 
d) No candidate shall be admitted to the Course, unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks. However, candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 42% marks and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.
 
Age: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2020. The upper age limit for admission to the Integrated Five Year LL-B Course-2020 will be subject to the final orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the related petitions.
