The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) conducts Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree (KEAM) for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Degree Courses in Kerala. 
 
Admission of Medical & Allied courses (MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeo, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry, Fisheries) under KEAM will be done through NEET UG 2020.
 
Candidates desirous of seeking admission to Architecture courses must qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. 
 
KEAM 2020 Eligibility - 
 
Engineering courses -
 
[Including B.Tech (Agri. Engg.) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses under Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University and B.Tech (Food Technology) course under Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies].
 
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subject with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. In case, the candidate has not studied chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
 
Age - Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit for Engineering, Architecture and B.Pharm Courses.

KCET Medical

KCET Medical 2016 is the Karnataka common entrance examination which is conducted every year to offer the admissions to the deserving students in the medical and dental colleges of Karnataka. This year the exam will be scheduled on 4 May 2016 and 5 May 2016. This entrance examination is the state level exam and the candidate must have to satisfy the domicile conditions. Karnataka Examination Authority is the exam organizing body which organizes this examination to offer undergraduate courses. KCET Medical 2016 Application Form / Registration:-

Step1: Please download the e-brochure from KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in and read the instructions carefully before start entering the application online. Enter all the details ONLINE by browsing  URL on web http://kea.kar.nic.in by selecting “CET-2016 UG Online Application”. After completion of entry of all the details candidate’s will receive an application ID and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.

Step 2:Upload the scanned copy of recent passport size Colour Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG / JPEG format separately.

Step 3: Print the Challan copy which is in triplicate. Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay an amount of Rs. 650/- for General and OBC (Rs.500/- for SC / ST Category-1 of Karnataka candidates only). Rs.750/- in case of candidates residing outside the state of Karnataka and Rs.5,000/- in case of candidates residing outside India. The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branch of the Banks prescribed. The bank will retain bank copy of the Challan and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates. The candidates who are residing outside India shall pay the fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore, the demand draft should be sent to KEA address by mentioning the application number.

Step 4: Take a printout of the application form on A-4 Size paper. Obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where you have studied 2nd PUC or 12th Standard on the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verifi cation.

KARTET

Karnataka TET is an exam conducted by the state government of Karnataka as per the rules and regulation of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). KARTET is important eligibility criteria for teaching aspirants wishing to enroll as teachers in primary (classes I to V) and upper primary (classes VI to VIII) of schools in the state. The state government has entrusted the responsibility of  Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) to Centralised Admission Cell (CAC) of Bangalore.
 
The format is similar to other TET exams conducted throughout the country by respective examination bodies. An aspirant who clears this exam successfully securing 60 % percent marks or more is issued an KARTET Eligibility certificate. SC/ST/C-1 and differently abled candidates should secure a minimum of 55 % marks in order to be eligible. 
 
Aspirants qualifying for Karnataka TET 2019 are not conferred with the right to recruitment or employment however it is a key eligibility for employment as an teacher.  The validity period for this qualifying certificate is seven years from the date of declaration of result for all categories. 
 
Which schools does KARTET apply to ?
 
a) Schools owned and managed by the State Government 
b) Local bodies and aided schools that consider TET exam conducted by the state government.
 
Eligibility for Karnataka TET 2019:- 
 
Paper I -  Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 1 to 5) -
 
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

i) Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification meant for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently abled.
ii) For the purposes of this Notification, a Diploma/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.  However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.ED (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
iii) The minimum qualifications referred above, apply to the teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Mathematics and Science only.
iv) Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are provisionally admitted and their KARTET Certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations with prescribed marks.
v) The candidates not having any of the above qualification shall not be eligible for appearing in “Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test”.

A candidate who has passed any recognized under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.  Provided that in respect of candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified above in Pre-University Course with fifty percent of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. 45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.  

Lateral Entry to 2nd year MCA

Karnataka PGCET

Karnataka Examination Authority conducts Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions to MBA, MCA and M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility:-

(i) For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch - Course

A candidate with valid GATE score.  

A candidate who has passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the  Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the  subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. /  M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)

(ii) For Part Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses:

A candidate who has passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates) In addition to this candidate after obtaining the complete degree, must have worked for not less than three years as on 31st July 2015, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission. However, the employer has to fill up the NOC duly signed by the competent authority

(iii) Admission to the Part Time M.Tech Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) shall be open to regular faculty working in institutions in Karnataka state.  

i) Who have passed B.E. / B.Tech Examination (in relevant field) of VTU or any other recognized University / Institution and have passed the qualifying examination in second class (50% aggregate) (No relaxation in minimum percentage will be given for these admissions)
ii) Having experience of one academic year, and
iii) Working place shall be within 100 kms from the institutions where they seek admission.  Not only a candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with requisite marks but also a candidate who is appearing for the Q. E. and expecting the results is eligible to apply for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test – 2015.

For MBA:

For Full Time MBA courses:


A candidate who has passed Recognised Bachelor’s  Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates)  

For Part Time MBA courses:

Karnataka CET

The Karnataka CET is known as the Karnataka Common Entrance Test which is yearly organised by the KEA i.e. the Karnataka Examination Authority. The KCET Exam is conducted in the month of May 2020 probably in the 2nd week. However, the official notification for the exam shall be released in the end of January 2020. This exam is usually conducted for the candidates who wish to get enrolled in the undergraduate programs of engineering in the colleges of Karnataka. In order to participate in the exam, candidates shall have to fill the application form for the exam. 

Karnataka CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:-

The eligibility criteria of the KCET 2020 Exam is defined and laid down by the KEA. These are the necessary rules and conditions that are necessarily required to be fulfilled by the participating candidates in order to be eligible for the exam. The eligibility conditions are given as follows.

• The candidate must have passed the 12th class qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.
• Apart from the physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects, the other one may be chemistry/biology/electronics/computer science/bio-technology which may be included as the optional subjects.
• The minimum pass percentage required for the candidates of general category is 45% and for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC category is 40%.

Karnataka CET 2020 Admission Procedure:-

The complete admission procedure for the candidates participating in this exam is given as follows. Candidates involved in this exam can make use of the information given below.

• First of all, candidates shall be required to fill the application form which shall be made available for filling in the month of January 2020.
• The last date to fill the application form is March 2020. No application form received after this shall be entertained.
• For the application process, the candidates must first submit a KEA copy of bank challan to their colleges.
• On the official site, candidates are to upload their necessary documents and fill all the necessary details.
• After filling the complete KCET 2020 Exam application form, candidates must submit the form to the principal of their college or school.
• The admit cards shall be released in the month of April 2020 which they shall be required to obtain from the principal of the respective college or school.
• The final written exam shall then be held in the month of May 2020.
• The result shall be announced in the month of June 2020 which would decide which candidates have or have not qualified the KCET 2020 Exam.
• The final admission process will be bought to halt by the counselling process which shall also be held in the month of June 2020. Candidates shall be allotted seats during the counselling procedure.

Karnataka CET Registration / Application Form

Karnataka CET 2020 Application Form / Registration:-

The candidates who shall be participating in the KCET 2020 Exam shall have to apply for the exam. In order to apply for the exam, the candidates shall be required to fill the complete application form and submit it before the last date. The application forms shall be made available for filling in the month of January 2020. The last date to submit will be March 2020. The application form procedure is given as follows.

• The first step is to submit a KEA copy of bank challan to their college or school.
• Candidates shall then be required to upload their documents needed and fill out all the necessary information as required for the submitting of KCET 2020 Exam application form.
• After filling the complete application form, candidates shall be required to submit the form to the principal of their college or school.
• Candidates shall then be required to take their admit cards from the same principal when it will be released.
• The application form fee for the candidates belonging to the general category is Rs. 650 and for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBS categories is Rs.500.

Karnataka CET 2020 Result:-


The result for the KCET 2020 Exam shall be released in the month of June 2020. The result shall show the candidates who have passed the examination and can appear for the counselling round. The result shall be uploaded on the official website. Candidates shall be required to check their result from there. The candidates who successfully qualify the written exam phase shall be included in the result.
