Maharashtra TET

Maharashtra TET: Maharashtra State Teacher Eligibility Test, is paper-pen based OMR entrance assessment directed by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune. The exam serves as the main teacher eligibility test in Maharashtra for aspirants  intent on being appointed as teachers in classes I to VIII.  The State of Maharashtra has made Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) a mandatory qualification for primary (Classes I to V) and elementary (Classes VI to VIII) teachers in Maharashtra. 
 
All questions of MahaTET  will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.There will be two papers of the TET. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to teach Class I to VIII will have to appear for both
 
Maha TET is conducted twice every academic year and the validity period of TET qualifying certificate is seven years for all categories from the date of award of Maha TET certificate. 
 
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for accquiring a TET certificate. A person who is a qualified TET may also appear again for improving his/her own score. 
 
Maharashtra TET Qualifying Marks:-
 
A person who scores 60 percent or more in MahaTET 2019 exam will be considered as TET pass. 
A person belonging to SC,ST,VJ,NT,OBC, differently abled persons, who scores 55% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. The state government will award certificates to all TET passed candidates. 
 
Eligibility for Maharashtra TET 2019:- 
 
The following persons shall be eligible for Maharashtra TET 2019:
 
i. A person who has acquired the academic and professional qualifications specified in the Government of Maharashtra Resolution dated 13 Feb. 2013. 
ii. A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the appropriate authority, as the case may be) specified in the of Maharashtra Resolution dated 13 Feb. 2013.
 
Maharashtra TET 2019 Schools:- 
 
A school of the State Government/UT with legislature and local authority referred to in sub-clause (i) of clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act; and (ii) a school referred to in sub-clause (ii) of clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act in that State/UT. 
 
A school at (i) and (ii) may also consider eligibility of a candidate who has obtained TET Certificate awarded by another State/UT with legislature. In case a State Government/UT with legislature decides not to conduct a TET, a school at (i) and (ii) in that State/UT would consider the TET conducted by the Central Government.

State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) Government of Maharashtra conduct the MAH BEd CET for the admission to the First Year of the Two Year Full Time Professional Degree Course in Education leading to B.Ed.(Regular /Special) Degree.
 
The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are Affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State :
 
1. The Government College of Education offering B.Ed. Course,
2. All Government Aided Colleges (including Aided Minority Institutions) offering B.Ed. Course,
3. All University Managed Institutes offering B.Ed. Course,
4. All Un-aided colleges (including Minority Institutions) offering B.Ed. Course, covered as per the Act.
 
Eligibility for Appearing to MAH BEd CET 2020:-
 
Educational Qualification for Maharashtra State Candidature:-
 
The Candidate Should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects studied as Special/Optional level- Sciences and Mathematics /Social Sciences= (History /Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education / Library) / Humanity Sciences= (All Languages and Literature) / Commerce and secured Minimum 50% *marks (Minimum 45%* marks in case of Backward Class categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra )
 
OR
 
(ii) The Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering and Technology / (with Science and Mathematics as a special subjects) / Bachelor’s Degree with the subjects: Management / Engineering / Computers / Law / Information -Technology / Agriculture / BBI / Medical Sciences / All Social Sciences / Fine Art / Performing Art (Music / Dance / Drama etc.) and secured minimum 55% *marks (Minimum 50% *marks in case of Backward Class categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra).
 
OR
 
The Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree recognized as an equivalent degree by the Government of Maharashtra, to the Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s Degree in subjects mentioned in (i) and (ii) above.
 
OR
 
The candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree given by Open University Incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.
 OR
The candidate should be appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda PET

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda conduts Ph. D Entrance Test (PET) for admission to its Ph.D Programme.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda PET 2019 Eligibility:-

Only those candidates are eligible to appear in the PET who have completed / are studying in the final year or semester of a UGC specified Master’s degree.
 
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for PET. The Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / PwD (PH - Physically Handicapped / VH - Visually Handicapped) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for PET.
 
Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing in the final year / semster at the qualifying Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for PET. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for PET only after they have passed their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) belonging to non-creamy layer / SC/ST/PwD(PH/VH) category candidates). Such candidates must complete their Master’s degree examination within two years from the date of declaration of result of PET with required percentage of marks, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.
 
Exemption -
 
The candidates who have qualified in national/ state level competitive examination such as UGC-CSIR / NET / SET / GATE / GPAT / DBT / ICMR / JRF  holders are exempted from appearing in PET. Such candidates are requested to contact respective department directly, for the enrollment and registration for Ph.D.
 
Validity - The validity of PET Certificate shall be forever.

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State conducts common entrance test MAH-MPH-CET online for admission to first year of two year full time Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm).'
 
MAH MPH CET 2018 Eligibility:-

a) Candidate who has passed B.Pharm. degree or appeared in final year / final semester of B.Pharm from any AICTE approved institution affiliated with University (approved by UGC), subject to the condition that they must produce proof of passing B. Pharm. examination as per M.Pharm. admission eligibility criterion in original at the time of admission by counseling round.

b) For Admission to M. Pharm. through GPAT Qualified Candidates:

The candidate should be an Indian Citizen along with following educational qualifications -
 
(1) (a)An applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School course (+2) or equivalent (such as 11+1, A level in Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognized Board/University in India or outside or from Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a Foreign Country recognized by the Government of that Country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course Examination, with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for Open, SEBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Category candidates and Out Side Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates (OMS) i.e. All India Candidates, (candidate belonging to SC and ST Category from the State of Maharashtra with minimum 40% Aggregate Marks and VJNT, SBC, OBC, Category belonging to State of Maharashtra with Minimum 42% Aggregate marks);

State common Entrance Test Cell conducts MAH LLB 3 YEAR CET for admission to Three Year Full Time Regular Degree Course in Law VIZ. LL.B 3 YEAR Degree Course in Government, Aided and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.
 
 
Eligibility for MAH LLB 3 YEAR CET 2020:-
 
Candidate should be a graduate in any faculty of any University in Maharashtra established by an act of Parliament or by a State Legislature or an equivalent National Institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or Foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence, With Minimum 45% of Marks in aggregate (That is 45 % marks for all the parts of the Degree Examination taken together ) in qualifying examination in case of the candidates belongings to OPEN Category, ALL INDIA CANDIDATURE (OMS), EWS & SEBC candidates from the state of Maharashtra, (Candidate belonging to SC and ST Category need only 40% marks and VJNT, SBC and OBC, Category with minimum 42% marks in the qualifying examination.)
 
Further provided that, the candidates who are appearing/appeared for the qualifying examination UG or PG (regular examination of that Academic Year) are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the provisional/Degree certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all parts of qualifying examination at the time of CAP Application form filling.
 
There is no Upper age limit for admission to 3 year’s LL.B Course.
